Creston Valley Spring Trade Show – April 24 & 25, 2020
Touted as the best trade show in the Kootenays, this show brings together businesses from across the region in a festive, friendly atmosphere. 2,500 plus people attend the show over two days. There is tons to see, do and buy. Door prizes!

Creston Valley Bird Festival - May 8, 9, 10, 2020
The Creston Valley is a vital birdwatching site and staging area for migratory birds with over three hundred species of birds recorded. A designated Important Bird Area, this festival celebrates our wonderful diversity. Activities include a variety of birdwatching events guided by field experts, as well as photography and art displays and bird-oriented workshops. Starbelly Jam Music Festival – Friday July 17, 18, 19, 2020
Hugging the shores of the majestic Kootenay Lake, Crawford Bay plays host to this amazing annual music festival. Not too big and not too small, this is a “just right” festival Goldilocks couldn’t help but love. Starbelly Jam is a special festival with great entertainment, great food, great people, lots of happy kids and room to play — this festival’s success is all about the celebration of life though music, friendship and having a fun time for all in a safe and secure environment.

Creston Valley Fall Fair - weekend following Labour Day – Friday, September 11 to Saturday Sept 12, 2020
Celebrating 100 Years! - the Fall Fair highlights agriculture, agri-tourism, 100-mile diet, 4H Beef & 4H Horse Club demonstrations, and home-grown and homemade goods in friendly competition for special ribbons and cash prizes.
Blue Heron Half-Marathon and 10K Run - Third Sunday of September - September 27, 2020
Two scenic, rolling routes around the conservation area wetlands, through treed areas, and along the winding Kootenay River. Entry fees include t-shirts.

Creston Christmas Art and Craft Market - Third Saturday of November - November 21, 2020
Kick off your holiday shopping at the Creston Community Arts' Council's annual Christmas Art & Craft Fair. Full of local arts and crafts, you'll be sure to find a unique, one-of-a-kind gift for everyone on your list! Hosted in the Creston room at the at the Creston & District Community Complex 9am- 4pm

Creston Valley Winter Festival & Santa Claus Parade - December 5, 2020
The 26th Annual Winter Festival & Santa Claus Parade is happening on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Welcome Santa Claus to Creston! Daytime activities include a free swim, children's crafts and gingerbread cookie decorating up at the Community Complex. There will also be pictures with Santa and events happening in downtown. End the day with an evening parade at 5pm. After the parade enjoy the Outdoor Winter Market in Spirit Square along with free hot dogs and hot chocolate around the bonfire!
